When you Arrive

When you arrive on campus,  you should go directly to the  MIT Card Office, for your permanent ID. This will provide you access througout campus.  If you already have your permanent ID, you need to pay attention to the expiration date.  Proceed to your assigned residence hall  if you are living on campus.  Take some time to get settled, organize your room, meet a few of your student neighbors, Graduate Resident Tutors, and familiarize yourself with your sorroundings.

Transfer students coming to MIT for the spring semester must participate in an orientation on Thursday, January 31st in the Stratton Student Center (W20), PDR 1 (3rd Floor).  This program will introduce you to the registration process, academics, student life and some students and administrators.

If you have any questions, please contact Leslie Bottari, bottari@mit.edu or 617-324-7600.
