Parent Orientation Schedule

Parent Orientation is a great way to get a glimpse of the many different experiences that your student will have an opportunity to explore at MIT. Some of the programs that will be offered include a Convocation hosted by MIT's President and panels addressing various aspects of MIT life, including health and safety, academics, student life, and athletics. You are also invited to a Jazz event on Sunday evening where you will have the opportunity to meet some of the administrators who specifically support programming for first-year students. Parent connectors, parents of current MIT undergraduates, will also be there to share their experiences.

Parent Orientation takes place on Sunday, August 25 and Monday, August 26. All parent programming will end by 6pm on Monday, August 26. You may view the PDF Parent Orientation Schedule here.

Orientation programs and the events listed above are complimentary except for the trolley tours, which require advance payment. Parent Orientation Registration is completed via a section on the Orientation Registration Form that your student must complete by August 1.
