Summer Housing Lottery
MIT's undergraduate residence program helps students find a living environment where they can thrive personally, socially and academically. Whether a student chooses to live in one of MIT's undergraduate residence halls or cultural houses, there's a diversity of lifestyles and cultures within the residence system that reflects that of our student body. Students apply for their preferred housing option during the summer prior to freshman year.
The Undergraduate Housing website provides specifics on each residence hall; housing application procedures (i.e. the summer housing lottery), forms and deadlines; details on the special housing programs; and answers to commonly asked questions.
The Housing Lottery will be open May 28 through June 11. Students must enter the summer housing lottery by June 11.
If you have any questions regarding undergraduate housing, please contact Housing staff.
