Orientation 2017

During Orientation 2017 to be held in August 2017, you will have many opportunities to mingle with your new classmates as well as MIT faculty and staff. You'll explore academic options, campus/student life programs, MIT residences, the campus and its resources, as well as the Boston/Cambridge area.

Orientation 2017 includes pre-orientation programs (FPOPs) offered right before the official beginning of orientation, the President's convocation, faculty lectures, and an academic expo where you'll get to meet faculty and administrators from academic departments and programs. You'll also be participating in various special orientation programs and events designed to introduce you to life at MIT.
